Ways to Help
In Kind Donations
Material (in-kind) donations are vital to our daily operation. In addition to food items, Bean's social service office provides, when available, first aid, vitamins, over the counter medicines, and various personal items.
Bean's Cafe relies heavily upon the support of our community. The balance of our food needs are met through USDA surplus products and the Food Bank of Alaska.
If you would like to make an in-kind donation, any of the items on our wish list would be gratefully received. Items not on our wish list are also gratefully received and much appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at Bean's Café at 1101 East 3rd Avenue, Monday-Fridays 8 am-5pm, Saturday and Sundays 9am-5pm. If delivery is not possible, please call us at 274-9595 and we will happily arrange a pick-up.
