2013 Annual Event: The Empty Bowl Project

The event is an annual fundraiser presented by the Anchorage Clay Arts Guild to benefit Bean’s Café. The 19th Annual Empty Bowl Project will take place on Saturday March 9th, 2012 at the Egan Center from 11am-2pm. The Empty Bowl Project began in 1994 with 400 bowls and has grown in attendance every year. The fundraiser combines the talents and generosity of The Anchorage Clay Arts Guild and some super soups provided by Bean’s Cafe! Thousands of hand-crafted pottery bowls are created for this unique event. With a ticket you can choose a hand crafted bowl to take home, bid on exceptional clay and glass pieces in the silent auction and enjoy soup and cornbread. Come and join over 2,000 of your neighbors for this community wide event.

Tickets will go on sale February 10th

Tickets will not be available online. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at several businesses in Anchorage and Eagle River including:
